TECHNICAL RULES-  Designed to keep our drivers and fans safe while participating in an Equal Opportunity Environment

CONDUCT RULES-  Reminding everyone that we all are enjoying this sport in a family-friendly atmosphere.  Our actions will have consequences if such situations should occur.  We all are here to have fun, be safe, and enjoy racing!! 


Technical Rules-

All cars/motors must pass the Pre-Season tech before participation in any ADCRA sanctioned event.  The tech committee has several factors pertaining to stock motor rule and it's allowances and limitations.

Rules remain the same as last year but no motor claim rule:
 
*** - Pure Factory Stock 1000cc in production for 2 years (2010 and older)
     - No Powercommanders or TFIs, must be stock ECU 
     - Pump gas only- no racing fuel, no fuel additives
     - No grace races and all motors/cars must pass tech BEFORE they can race.  Invitational races will be by TUSA rules and those races will
       be announced and noted
     - High-Stack air filters to be accepted

Bodyline and design specifications are outlined in the TUSA Rulebook beginning under heading 2b Modified Lite and contents thereafter. 
** Spoiler is now allowed with a 5 inch maximum heighth and must not exceed body width.  Must be single blade and mounted to the rear of the interior body shelf. ADCRA spoiler must be ALUMINUM ONLY. No Bracing on top, front, or rear of spoiler allowed.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT-

1- Fire suit- single layer minimum, one or two pieces
2- Fireproof gloves
3- Fireproof shoes
4- Approved helmet with Snell 95 or higher
5- Full-face helmet
6- Head and neck restraint systems are recommended

-Car must be equipped with 5-point safety harness, nor more than 3 years old, with minimum of 3-inch belts.
-Aluminum, high-backed racing seat mandatory-  See item #8 SEAT under TUSA rules for seat measurements & specifics
-Window nets, arm restraints and head & neck restraints HIGHLY recommended. This is mandatory at some tracks.

Tech requirements before and after a feature race are as follows:

- The top 5 (five) cars of both the Heats and the Feature must weigh on the track's scale, provided the track's scale will fit for our class- every
   car must weigh 1275# or more with the driver in the car. 

- The top 3 cars (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place) will automatically be teched by ADCRA Tech Committee Members.

-  Expect to have all aspects of the car, engine, safety equipment teched at any tech inspection. No exceptions.


** Any motor change requires a new tech of that motor and a Passing grade before it will be allowed to race. Do not wait until race day to have your motor teched. Set up a date with the Tech Committee members to have your car teched before the next scheduled race day. Remember, there are no grace races. 2010 and older will be accepted. Stock 1000cc.


ADCRA SANCTIONED EVENT RULES


All participants are subject to all rules and/or regulations of the hosting track and ADCRA rules and bylaws.

 


These rules are designed for the organized conduct of racing events and to establish minimum requirements for sanctioned ADCRA events. By participating in the events, all participants are deemed to have agreed to and acknowledge compliance with these rules and regulations.

 


In the event a situation arises which is not covered by these rules, a quorum decision of the present BOARD MEMBERS have the sole power to decide same, and such decision is FINAL.

Any interpretation of or deviation from these rules is left to the sole discretion of the ADCRA BOARD members. Their decision will be deemed final.

ADCRA MEMBERSHIP DUES are to be paid by the 3rd ADCRA SANCTIONED event entered or you will not be allowed to participate in any future event.  This applies to car and/or driver. Please forward all inquires to ADCRA Secretary/Treasurer.

 


GENERAL RULES
 

All New Drivers to this class are required to start in the Rear of the Field for their first 4 races. This means 4 complete nights of racing (Heat race and Feature race count as 1 (one).  Does not matter if you have driven in another class before or not. This is for safety reasons only and it will be enforced. No Exceptions.


All drivers, mechanics, pit crew, family members, and friends are subject to these rules and regulations.

 


NO alcoholic beverages will be allowed in the pit area during any ADCRA sanctioned event.  Any driver found to be consuming alcohol BEFORE or DURING the racing event will be subject to eviction for the night and expulsion from future ADCRA events.

 


NO illegal drug of any kind consumed BEFORE or DURING a sanctioned ADCRA event will be allowed at any time.  Any individual caught, will be subject to eviction from any further ADCRA sanctioned event.

 


Anyone driving on the racetrack under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be dealt with severely.  ADCRA BOARD MEMBERS reserve the option to request drug and/or alcohol testing for any driver involved in any sanctioned ADCRA event.  If drug and/or alcohol tests are positive, the driver will be excluded from any future ADCRA events and loss of ALL points.

 


***Refusal to submit to alcohol and/or drug testing shall be considered a POSITIVE TEST RESULT and will result in the driver being excluded from any future ADCRA event and loss of ALL points.

 


ADCRA BOARD MEMBERS


Reserve the right to amend any rule at any time in the interest of safety, or to rewrite the rule for clarification.

 

Any person filing suit against ADCRA, ADCRA BOARD MEMBERS, and/or participants not mentioned, for an incident occurring at any sanctioned ADCRA event, will be barred from entry to any ADCRA sanctioned event until such time as the suit is resolved.  The person or persons involved in any suit may also be permanently barred from any future ADCRA events.

 


CONDUCT

 


Rules of conduct have been established to maintain the enjoyment of racing for everyone involved.  There will be ZERO TOLERANCE for those not adhering to these rules.  It is the responsibility of ALL persons at all ADCRA sanctioned events to know and abide by these rules.

 

NO EXCEPTIONS!!

 

Refusal of any driver, car owner, pit crew, spouse, and/or any other participant involved with racing to abide by this set of rules will be grounds for the BOARD MEMBERS OF ADCRA to refuse such individuals the opportunity to participate in ADCRA events, and/or impose penalties that will be enforced.

 


Any individual that intentionally places hands on, and/or strikes any ADCRA BOARD member or any other driver at a sanctioned event in a threatening or aggressive manner, will be barred for a minimum FOUR week suspension of DRIVER and CHASSIS from attending or participating in all ADCRA events.

 


Disorderly conduct of any kind, which included but is not limited to fighting, verbal abuse, unusual disruptive behavior, and/or intentional destruction of any property will be immediately barred for a period of no less that TWO weeks.

 


Drivers and/or car owners will be directly responsible for the conduct of their pit crews, spouses, family, friends, and any other individuals associated with their race team. NO EXCEPTIONS!!  Their behavior is a reflection of your association.

 


Driver conduct:  Any driver and/or other participant associated with that driver, that goes to another car’s pit area, (this includes just the outside of the pit perimeter) with the intention to cause an altercation can/will be suspended for no less than TWO weeks.  All points earned for the night will be lost.

 


Driver is responsible for EVERYONE that comes in with his/her car.  The driver may be disqualified for their failure to abide by the rules.  Points can/will be forfeited.

 


Any conflicts between drivers will be discussed with the track officials and present BOARD MEMBERS ONLY.  Conflicts and/or questions will be discussed only with the DRIVERS INVOLVED.  Anyone else creating verbal altercations of any kind will not be tolerated, and can/will result in disqualification for unsportsmanlike conduct.

 


No profanity will be tolerated at all!!!  This includes drivers, pit crews, spouses, family, friends, and any other individuals associated with their race team. This includes meetings.

 


Any driver intentionally using his/her car in a malicious manner in the pit area or on the racetrack will be subject to being barred from ADCRA sanctioned events for a period of time at the discretion of the ADCRA BOARD members.  This includes retaliation against another driver.  DON’T DO IT OR YOU WILL PAY THE CONSEQUENCES!!

 


DISIPLINARY PENALTIES

 


PROFANITY TO ADCRA BOAR MEMBER or TRACK OFFICIAL:

        

          1st Offense-  1 week suspension of driver and chassis

 

          2nd Offense-  2 week suspension of driver and chassis

 


OBSCENE GESTURE TO ADCRA BOARD MEMBER, FLAGMAN, TRACK STAFF, OR AUDIENCE:

 

          1st Offense-  1 week suspension of driver and chassis

 

          2nd Offense-  2 week suspension of driver and chassis

 


ENTERING ANOTHER PIT ARE OR PIT PERIMETER WITH INTENT TO CREATE ALTERCATIONS (VERBAL OR PHYSICAL)

 

          1st Offense-  2 week suspension of driver and chassis

          2nd Offense-  Discretion of ADCRA BOARD MEMBERS

 


USING YOUR CAR IN A MALICIOUS MANNER (INCLUDING RETALIATION AGAINST ANOTHER DRIVER):

 

Every Offense-  Minimum 2 week suspension of driver and chassis.  (Could be longer depending of Discretion of ADCRA BOARD MEMBERS and severity of incident!)

 


PLACING HANDS ON OR STRIKING TRACK OFFICIALS or ADCRA BOARD MEMBERS or ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL IN A THREATENING OR AGGRESSIVE MANNER:

 


Every Offense-  Minimum 4 week suspension of driver and chassis.  (Could be longer depending of Discretion of ADCRA BOARD MEMBERS or Hosting TRACK OFFICIAL)

 


Any driver being barred from competition at ADCRA sanctioned events will include the barring of the race car (chassis) and that driver that was driving for the specified time of the suspension.
